What's New

Last updated 02 March 2010

The 2010 Redland May Fair takes place on 3rd May. Applications for stalls are now closed - details here

We've also unearthed some video footage of the Fair in 1986; you can find it here, and it's an interesting reminder of how the event looked 24 years ago...

Email News Alerts

Our Newsletter is published four times a year but we sometimes need to let members know about an important local matter between issues, especially those in the postcode area affected. For many members, email is the preferred form of communication, so it makes sense for us to use this method to contact members.

To sign up for this service please click here

It only takes a few minutes to sign-up: the form will open in a new window, and the procedure is self-explanatory. You may also indicate which particular issues interest you, and in the long term we may wish to target members with news updates that are relevant to them. When you have finished, just close the window to return to this page.

Every email you get from us as part of this service will include the option to remove yourself from the mailing list, but if you decide now that you no longer wish to be contacted in this way, please click on the following link:

RCAS has agreed to provide web space for a personal project by Roger Mortimer:

St Mary Le Port / Castle Park - An Alternative Approach.

This site is well outside RCAS area but its redevelopment raises issues that are familiar to RCAS.  For example, the threat to street trees, over-development, inappropriate design and impact on public green spaces. Roger's ideas for dealing with these issues on a site outside our area may be of interest to members and users of RCAS website.

RCAS has had no input and the views expressed are entirely those of Roger Mortimer.

If there's something you think you've seen on this website in the past, but cannot find it now, try the File Downloads page - it's the repository for a number of files that are not necessarily current but which may still be of interest.

The Pictures page still has plenty of space for more images. This is a free and informal gallery for you to share interesting and relevant pictures of Redland or Cotham with other members. How about some historical pictures? Do let me know. You can email me or telephone on Bristol 942 1204.
