An alternative approach

There has been a long pause in plans for redevelopment here, caused by the campaign to protect Castle Park and of course the financial situation. Now is the time to influence the future of this vital area.

My dismay at previous schemes of questionable sustainability, based on large new office blocks, and requiring loss of many street trees, has led me to stick my neck out and suggest an alternative approach. I would welcome comments, questions, suggestions from individuals or groups concerned about any of the aspects of Bristol's future that are involved in this project. Independent support will help to get an alternative approach fully considered by the Council, who may otherwise be led down the conventional development route.
